Anne-Marie Tomchak is an award winning digital journalist. She brings an expert voice and original journalism to the BBC’s social media coverage. In 2013 Anne-Marie launched BBC Trending – a Webby Award winning team - dubbed the BBC’s Bureau on the Internet. She has vast knowledge of social media analytics tools and mobile applications and uses them to gather news, share content and build social engagement.

Before joining BBC Trending, Anne-Marie was a regular face on BBC World News and a producer of the flagship interview show HARDtalk. She has reported for a range of national and international broadcasters including American Public Media, NPR, Deutsche Welle and RTE News.
